-- QB Blake Sims (shoulder) did everything but throw during the media viewing session. When the quarterbacks went through a gauntlet to test their fumbling skills, Sims swatted with his left, non-throwing arm. He went through non-throwing agility drills just like the rest of the quarterbacks. When the group worked on long rollout throws, Sims rolled out and held on to the ball. During drills with the receivers, Sims dropped back alongside Jacob Coker but didn't throw any passes.

-- Alabama had three players wearing black jerseys and riding stationary bicycles: WR DeAndrew White, RB Tyren Jones and OL Paul Waldrop.

-- Of note with White, his injury is a new one and not a recurrence of the shoulder injury that kept him out of two games. The senior wore a boot on his left foot.

THE DREADED AJ BOOT!   :o :o

Darn! He is our most experienced receiver along with Coop. Let's hope he'll be ok for Ole Miss. We need him.

100 e-cred to 2 if he asks CNS about the boot at the next PC -  ;)

Amazing that A.J. went through those years without an injury taking him out.  That was the horror I worried about since it didn't seem we had a seasoned backup.

Me too.
But wait; we had Blake Sims the whole time!

How about if I can get Peewee to ask him on the next "Hey Coach"? (Peewee, I'll give you 99 of them)

If Peewee asked him the boot question, I don't think he would be CNS' favorite caller anymore.  :lol2:
