Tomlinson said on Sunday that he spent the spring trusting his knee again, but was eagerly awaiting the first practice in full gear, which took place on Tuesday. He could play inside or out on the line for Alabama, and said he had his explosiveness back to 100 percent.

"Maybe the first couple of days (will take some getting used to), but after that I think everything will be smooth sailing," Tomlinson said. "I feel like I will be able to impact the run game and I'm working on my pass rush every day so we can have a pretty good pass front this year." ...

This guy was my favorite along the D-line last year until his injury.  Let's hope he's able to play well and stay healthy this whole season!

I thought with his recruitment he had to be a good player. We all know that injury can take the greatest out of the game. As someone said I pray he is better this year and plays with that chip on his shoulder that controlled chip. RTR!

We could make ourselves sick and crazy over the injuries. Players come back, new injuries happen. We just have to hope for the best for the young men involved, and trust that outstanding recruiting and development will mean the job will get done.

Bama really missed him after his injury. It's good to hear he picked up right where he left off.

Isn't it comforting to know that one "key" injury won't derail our season as it has in the past?  We have lots of talent on the team so when one player goes down someone else is on the sideline licking their chops for the chance to get in there and hit someone...
