Title: Dear Opponents of Bama in 2011
Post by: rueben on June 24, 2011, 08:01:18 PM
Thank you for fielding a football team. Thank you for manning up enough to step on the field against The University of Alabama, as foolish of an idea as it might be. I am sure your team, fans, and school is full of nice respectable people. But understand something, please. The week that Bama plays you, I will be full of venomous hatred for you. If Alabama will be taking the field in your stadium, know that is exactly what will happen. They will TAKE the da#@ field. They will take your own field away from you. There will be pain, and blood and carnage. Some of you will not be able to leave the field under your own power. This will not be form some pansy little desperation cheap shots. ( AKA Auburn's Chop blocking, spearing and blatant late hits.) It will be from the harder hitting than your team ever imagined. Every time your players step into that stadium, from then own out, no matter who they are playing, there will be fear and hesitation. They will remember what happened "that one time Bama came." You see, Bama won't come to play; playing is what your team does with a football. The men composing the University of Alabama Football will be there to destroy you, and nothing less. Your fathers will be embarrassed, and your mothers will be full of pity, for their "little boy."
If you were stupid or ignorant enough to come to Bryant Denny Stadium, I hope that you have given your hearts to God, because your @ss will belong to Bama. From the time you step off the bus, and enter the Fail Room, that feeling of impending doom will be a minor precursor of what's about to happen. When you step out on the field, you will suddenly realize the colossal mistake that you, your coach and your A.D. made.  Those of you who do not get injured will fain injury. When you are gasping for air in the oppressing heat and humidity of Western Alabama, Dre' Kirkpatrick will hit you, right in the solar plexus. While people will say, " he just got the wind knocked out of him" you will not return to the field. Not because of the lack of O2 in your lungs, but because of the abundance of fear  in your heart. When you finally get home to your dorm,  you will check your closet for Jesse Williams, you will look under the bed for Courtney Upshaw and Donte' Hightower. When you open a door you will stand to the side, out of fear that Trent Richardson will come blasting through, like he did your defensive line. (A misnomer if ever there was one.) So go ahead, watch that thunderstorm outside your window tonight. That scary image you keep seeing during those bright lightning flashes, is the face of Courntey Upshaw.
Call your priest, yuo're gonna need him.
