Title: Tuberville Wants Alabama Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 08, 2014, 11:09:50 PM Yeah, right.
:lol2: :lol2: Quote Tommy Tuberville still wants a piece of Alabama. In fact, he wants two shots at the Crimson Tide if he can get it. Quote “It’s just hard to get a team to say we’ll have a home-and-home with Cincinnati … it’s a little bit risky,” [/b]Tuberville said Tuesday on 94.5 FM in Birmingham, Alabama, as transcribed by Al.com. “We’re just not going to be one of those teams that’s going to just go somewhere and play and not get a return game.” Do you think playing in the massive Bearcat stadium which holds 35,000 folks might be a reason not to play at Cincinnati? http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/07/08/tuberville-has-doubts-about-scheduling-alabama-for-home-and-home/related/ :eyeroll: Title: Re: Tuberville Wants Alabama Post by: 2Stater on July 09, 2014, 04:16:18 AM Yeah, right. :lol2: :lol2: Quote Tommy Tuberville still wants a piece of Alabama. I would love a chance to make Tubbs eat his nubs back to back. Title: Re: Tuberville Wants Alabama Post by: Chechem on July 09, 2014, 05:22:20 AM There is no rodent, reptile, or worm lower than Tommy Tuberville. I got to know him all too well when he coached at Ole Miss. SLIMY. May he rot in Cincy.

This is another example of Tuberville self-promoting himself and inferring other teams are "afraid" to come and face his team in Cincy. Major teams would lose big money playing in such a small stadium. If he really wants to improve Cincy's chances of looking like a credible contender, play teams at a neutral site or even at their place, that's how teams like FSU under Bowden and Miami made a name for themselves. :dog: Title: Re: Tuberville Wants Alabama Post by: pmull on July 09, 2014, 12:59:54 PM There is no rodent, reptile, or worm lower than Tommy Tuberville. The last time he saw the Tide, he was getting his butt handed to him as the coach of a semi-college football team. He now heads a team that is less than that.
