I really hope he does well. He has the potential of being a real star on tour. I really hope Michael Thompson and Bud Cauley get it back together. They've fallen off over the past year or 2.

I say yes to both of you. Bud I think it was had to go through a whale full of stuff to get his wheelchair approved I think it was. They all have potential if they don't let it get away from them. RTR!

Bobby Wyatt is having a good round so far today.  He's at 2-under through 7 which brings him to even par.  The cut is projected at -1 right now, so he's got a decent shot of making it into the weekend.

Cauley is even par on the day through 8 holes (still 7-under total), and Michael Thompson would need a miracle to make the cut at this point.

Tiger will be back on the course next week.  Anyone trying to make money promoting golf will surely be thankful.

I had not heard that about Tiger. That is good news for the tour.

Bobby is now -3 on the day thru 13 holes and is projected to make the cut at -1.

Cauley is -1 on the day and remains in the top 10 with an 8-under.

Bud Cauley is hanging in there, he shot 2 under today and is tied for seventh place at -9. He  trails the leader by 4 strokes. It's good to see him playing good golf again, he had a terrible year last year.

Very glad to see that. He has so much talent. I hope he finishes well.

Stephanie Meadow is tied for 3rd heading into the final round of the Women's US Open at Pinehurst. Not bad for a young lady playing college golf a few weeks ago. This is her first pro tournament on the LPGA.

I hope Bud Cauley has a good day today. He needs a top 10 finish and good payday. He has been struggling this year.

Cauley finished tied for 11th and won $123k.

Steph Meadow finished in sole possession of 3rd at the US Women's Open at Pinehurst #2 -- the same course the men played last week.  She shot two 69's in the last two rounds. Can't find her winnings but it should be a quite nice check for her!  Her birdie putt on the final hole was probably worth 75 - 100k.

UPDATE:  Stephanie won $271k !!!  Not a bad first check. (Think student loans...)  That alone should be enough to get her a LPGA tour card for next year.  But if not, she will win more $$$ in future tourneys this year.

Another Bama grad making us proud.

I was unaware of Meadow's success in the women's US Open.  Thanks for the updates, men!
