From cancer. A terrible loss for MLB. Was a great hitter and classy guy. Sad to hear. RIP, Tony.

I saw Tony come into Fulton County Stadium in Atlanta and put hitting clinics. Nobody could beat his bat. He was a gentleman as far as I ever knew. RIP, RTR!

Tony was a pure hitter with a beautiful swing. One of the best to ever play the game.

Dadgummit...the world lost a heck of a baseball player, and from all accounts I've read about him, a very nice man.

In 1994, Tony had a 1.022 OPS mark with only 19 strike outs.   That, my friends, is some good hittin'.

Aw geez, this sucks. I loved watching Tony since I was a kid. He was always one of my favorite players, and one of the best hitters of all time. RIP Tony.  :(
