Thanks KoKoPuf that was a great article. I still believe we have to let all the QB's settle the dust between themselves and I think Coach Kiffin is the man to do it. I look forward to this season, and if we lose a game will I be upset? I sure will for 24 hrs. CNS allows that much. I think he comes through this year and the younger guys get some experience we will be a loaded football machine next year. This year we need that gluing together so we know what the other breathes or eats, or how he hurts and to finish the assignment. Wow! I am hungry for some Bama football right now if you can not tell. RTR!

nice read, but I have to take everything Jimbo says with a grain of salt.  We'll know by September anyway.

Why is Jimbo saying this?  What does he hope to accomplish?

So let's see...Jimbo says Coker is more talented than any QB CNS has ever had.  Meanwhile, the feelback from the summer workouts is that he needs to work on  accuracy.  What are you gonna believe?  Time will tell.

I just don't think Jimbo is helping Coker by saying things like this.  Soooo -- ding, ding, ding -- maybe this is it:  If Coker flops at Bama then Jimbo will blame it on our coaches and use that in recruiting.

He is saying this to put pressure on Coker and unrealistic expectations on a rabid fan base who turn quickly on an under preforming QB. Jimbo may act stupid but he isn't. These comments had an agenda.

I am not sure now. Is Jimbo's brain as big as a grain of salt? Or is he scared of what might really be? He is kind of like the writer from Orlando who pretends to know what is right for the SEC, never one has an idea what is good for somebody else. Please be safe in the ears. lol, RTR!

You guys have big imaginations.  Maybe Jimbo was asked a question and just answered it honestly.  Pretty simple, right?

He and Saban have a good relationship.

If that is the case with Coker, then Bama shouldn't have any problems winning the NC again this year. ;)

Jimbo probably was asked the question.  I can't imagine he would come out with this on his own, and rabid reporters are searching for any scoop on Coker.

Saying Coker is the most talented QB under Saban is a pretty strong statement.  If you look at where Bama's QBs are drafted, though, compared to EJ Manuel or Christian Ponder from FSU, who both went in the first round, then maybe he is right.  But maybe he does have an agenda too, knowing Bama and FSU are two favorites to make the playoff this year.
