Title: Early Summer Team and Recruiting Notes Post by: 2Stater on June 08, 2014, 05:26:45 AM http://www.alabamaintel.com/early-summer-team-recruiting-notes/
Not such good news with the exception of Eddie Jackson and Rashaan Evans. Brandon Hill at 392 lbs. :o Humphrey struggling. Looks like the recruiting of TD Moton was a mistake, and that we may not be able to hang on to Ledbetter. Quote QB’s-The staff thinks this could turn into a 3 headed battle. Bateman really impressed Kiffin in the spring and will be given the opportunity to compete with Sims and Coker for the starting job. The early report on Coker is that his arm is very strong, but he has been having accuracy issues in 7-on-7 work. Regardless of who wins the job, there will be a package in place for The Blakecat. Quote Jacob Coker-Has shown a strong arm in passing drills. Been wearing a sleeve on his surgically repaired knee that he had worked on last week. I have read what I feared was going to happen all the time. I am not sure why CNS is moi upset because the coaches took a verbal? The guy that is flipping to auburn doesn't bother me a bit. You won't win championships if the whole team is not bought in. Example: Last year. That article was super sized great. RTR!

Title: Re: Early Summer Team and Recruiting Notes Post by: Marshal Dillon on June 09, 2014, 09:52:36 AM This is something I addressed on a posts months ago. We have to go back to faster/quicker LB's and even DB's to be able to deal with the Hurry Up offense so many teams are trying to use. A very good pass rush would be of great help, too.
Quote ***Look for the trend to continue towards smaller sleeker LB’s that can run (http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/vb/images/smilies/patself.gif) |
