Unbelievable! >:( We have lost five games by the score of 2-1. We lost one 1-0 and another 2-0. We have ten loses and all but one we have scored 2 runs or less. We are 22-1 when scoring 3 runs or more. The good news is this was not a conference game. We are 22-10 8-4 and sitting alone in first place atop the SEC which plays the best baseball in the country. We play Auburn in a three game series this weekend in Tuscaloosa. That would put us 10-5 at the mid-point of the 30 game SEC season. The second half gets very difficult with series against UT, USCe, UF, LSU and Miss State. A good finish of 18-20 SEC wins would put us in position of hosting a regional for the first time in many years. |
