"Coach Kiffin calls plays based on matchups and what he sees," Cooper said. "Like I said before, it's a simple offense. If he sees they are in man-to-man coverage and I have a hitch route, it converts if he's close to me, we are going to throw a little fade route and make something out of it." Cooper's biggest play came on what he described as a "simple go route." Senior quarterback Blake Sims, whom Cooper said largely worked with the first-team offense, found him for the 75-yard touchdown... #+ #+ Just keep Kiffin in the playbook and away from the recruits: we're good. It will be interesting to see how well he does after all the baggage he's brought with him.

As long as he doesn't send the coeds, cheerleaders, or his wife to recruit, we're good! It will be interesting to see how good of a relationship that Cooper and Coker will have. If Sims can have that much success, the sky's the limit with Coker. ;) Title: Re: "Alabama WR Amari Cooper credits Lane Kiffin's offense as reason behind his big scrimmage" Post by: 2Stater on April 08, 2014, 06:58:56 AM Hmmm, Cooper seems to have a "man crush" on CLK. :dunno: If Coop can gain 190 yds every game, I hope they become BFF's. I agree with you on him staying healthy, that is big. Also, who was the DB defending Coop? Just sayin'....
