Title: Devotional 6/1611 Plow?
Post by: ricky023 on June 15, 2011, 10:18:31 AM
"Luke 9:62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

I know if you have ever read the Bible you notice how firm Jesus is when stating the word. The scripture we have today is one of his better ones in my opinion although they are all beyond perfection.

Putting our hand to the plow, which is the work of God, and turning away from our given work from the Lord, we are not deserving for the Kingdom of God. We always seem to find something that is more important that doing God's work.
The work what does it consist of? Try reading the Bible daily, talking to someone about Jesus Christ at work or in a grocery store, or even at the gym. Lead your children into a family Bible Study time, that would be awesome, it feels so great to have your children to listen to you and this is a time to bring out problems they may have about anything. Pray together as a family. God Bless!
