A halftime analysis revealed a likely dislocation, but it wasn't enough to keep the senior safety sidelined. He remained on the field from start to finish as Alabama slowed down the Aggies just enough to leave Kyle Field victorious. Just a few days later, when it was clear he would need season-ending surgery, Perry thought his painful, yet rewarding, afternoon in College Station would be his last in an Alabama uniform...
