Title: June 14, 2011 Christian?
Post by: ricky023 on June 14, 2011, 11:43:45 AM
"Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

What is a Christian? I wonder how that conversation would go if your friends were having a discussion over coffee and asked, “What is a Christian?” Would anybody mention your name? Are you so identified with Jesus Christ that people know who you are and what you believe?

Being a Christian is more than just lip service. It’s living your life in such a way that others see a difference in you. So as you go throughout your life, let others see God’s grace and love in you

Do you have the kindness to stop on the street to help someone? I see helping someone as speaking kind words to them, or picking a dropped package or such. You find a heart felt pain if you see some homeless person that you know will sleep in the rain tonight or you know they haven't had a meal in days or weeks.

The willingness to show before your friends the reading of the word of God. Willingness to take the back seat when more are open, this to me means the willingness to share in your heart. Should you have another word for your friends as to what a Christian is share it. The world wants to know. God Bless.
