Just want to give a heads up to all the folks that the first Tourney game starts at 11:30 am. The games are on TNT (245), truTV (246), & TBS (247) on Direct TV and the main channel is CBS channel 42. A fascinating game between Dayton (OH) and Ohio State is at 11 am this morning.

I'm pulling for Dayton, but I picked Ohio St.

Dayton is a good program. They have been to the Final Four and have been a consistent program for many years. I would not mind seeing them upset Ohio State.

The SEC won all 4 of their opening round NIT games. Tennessee won their play-in game. I hope UK and UF can make a deep run in the NCAA to keep a little SEC basketball respect.

I was thinking the same thing while watching UT beat Iowa last night. We need to earn some respect and if UF can make the Final Four and UK or UT make it to say the Elite 8, that would help the SEC next year at selection time.

I just checked the American University v Wisconsin game. American 14-10 early. Overall, American's stats for the season are awful, except for one, the FG% is almost 50% and 7th best in the NCAA.

Good win for Dayton.

I only had OSU winning 1 game. No big lost for my bracket except the $1 Million.

That is not true. I had my clothes on.  8)

# 9 Pitt putting a beating on #8 Colorado 42-16 with 2:02 in the 1st. I picked Pitt in a mild upset. I thought Pitt should be seated higher.

Wisconsin is going to win easily.

#5 Cincinnati struggling with # 12 Harvard early. Harvard leads 12-6 with 11:24 to go in 1st.

In our contest 2 out of 12 picked Dayton. Prothro & Bamaphil

Yeah, Pitt is solid and physical & I agree, they should have been no less than a #6 seed.

Harvard hitting everything.  Leads 22-15.

Lots of folks picked them to upset Cincy (not me).

Harvard plays the epitome of team BB. They move well, can shoot, pass the ball very effectively, and play with energy. Rebounding is their weakness.

Albany is giving Florida a hard time. Albany led much of the first half but Florida went to the half with a 6 point lead. Currently the game is tied at 39-39 with 14:04 to play.

St. Louis reminds me of Dayton, a program with a history of solid BB. They can definitely beat NC State. St. Louis is a #5 seed & NC State the 12 seed.

Manhattan/Louisville-The coach of Manhattan is a Pitino clone who played & coached under him. Interesting.

Ariz. State v Texas are a matchup of a #7 seed and 10 seed.

Two former assistants of Pearl from UT who also got fired as Pearl have new jobs since last year. One is an assistant at Wichita State, the other is at North Dakota State. The one at Wichita State was supposed to be a great assistant at UT.
