Haynie was the  only bright spot in the offense

He was 2 for 3, with a HR and 2 RBS's

Mrs. J and I went and watched the game tonight and we had some great weather. The bats were silent but Bama's triple play was the highlight of the game. If this doesn't happen I think Bama would have ben in big trouble.  Turnbull pitched a decent game but the defense was the key to his success with a couple of double plays to add to the triple play. He struggled when he had to pitch out of the stretch with a lot of low pitches with some making it to the backstop. He is impressive though.

Lee/Jamos, has Burrows pitched a lot this season?  Saw him pitch quite a bit in high school.

Alabama split the double header with UK yesterday to win the series 2-1. Good start to the SEC season. I assume the games were moved up to avoid the rain today.

Alabama lost Game 2 of the series 7-2.

Alabama won Game 3 5-3 in 10 innings. Trailing 3-1 going into the bottom of the 9th we scored 2 runs to tie the game. We scored 2 more in the 10th to get the win.

Alabama goes to 12-6 on the year, 2-1 in SEC.

We play two mid-week games with Alcorn State on Tuesday and Wednesday before traveling to Arkansas for our first SEC road series.
