Title: Super Bowl Predictions
Post by: pmull on February 02, 2014, 07:24:50 AM
Who is going to win the Super Bowl and pick the score.

This is a tough one one. It is a toss up.

Seattle doesn't have Jesse back yet to stuff the middle  :lol2:, and I think Manning really wants this one, so Denver in a close one, maybe even OT, 24-21.

I like Denver by a field goal, 27-24.

I think this is gonna be one of those games where the seasoned QB is up to the magnitude of the game and the younger one isn't. The Seahawks will come in believing what they've read all week about their D and how the weather will work to their favor. They will walk off the field and will wonder how they got behind 14-3. In the second half, Peyton will continue to move the team and score, but Wilson will settle down and rally. But with 4 min to go and the ball in the hands of the wisened veteran, Denver gets close enough to win it with a field goal.

…..Or Denver gets the shizz kicked out of them. Who knows.

the Seahawks have not scored over 23 points in the playoffs
so putting up enough points to beat PM and the Broncos may
be to big of a challenge ...

no 12th man today so the League of Doom will be on their on
PM is loved by many , not me , but many , so that is one for Denver

Denver leads the match up since 2001 3-2 which means
Seattle is due for some pay back , advantage Seahawks

because of Jessie , ole #37 and my daughter in law who is from Seattle
I'm going with Seattle , although IMHO Pete Carroll has the suck

I still have a unlike for PM from his days as a Vile , (I know let it go)
as great as he is as a pro QB the Vile in him makes me discount his
achievements ,
the Rocky Top POS   :lol2:

as far as the score ,  my pick is

Seattle 23
Denver 35

hope I'm wrong

Go Sea Buzzards

This is just unreal. Never in a million years I would have expected Denver to lay this big of an egg, but hats off to Seattle. Their defense is as good as advertised.

I'm very happy for Jesse and Kuiyam. Seattle was aggressive and focused the entire game. They are indeed the best team in the NFL. I have never seen Peyton Manning completely shut down like they were tonight. Congrats to the Seattle Seahawks!  #+
