While the average fan may look at a recruit's decision between Alabama and Kentucky as no real decision at all, there's plenty of appeal for a star player from the Bluegrass State to stay home and play for what many perceive to be a rising program. Mark Stoops and his staff have generate nearly unprecedented excitement for the Wilcats' program and have put together a phenomenal recruiting class as a result. Their was a UK and Louisville helmet and an Alabama cap. The Alabama hat looked like a cheap one picked up on sale at Walmart and there was no way that little cap was going to fit his big head.

When he referenced his choice would be where he would get the best coaching I figured it was a done deal. I wish him luck with his career but I think he has made a bad choice and only time will tell.

If he wants to play for championships and develop into a NFL player he made a bad choice. If he wants to play football while getting a good education and stay close to his family and friends he made a good choice. It is his decision I hope it works out for him.
