I was one of those who believed he could be our QB next year. I guess not.

I had an incredible year at Bama, it's sad to say that it will be my last,I'm excited for the next chapter of my life and what it will bring

Me too.  :(

I would like to know the real reason behind it. Does it have to do with too many QB's on the team? Kiffin? Pop wants him elsewhere?  :dunno:

Somewhat of a shock since AJ thought he was doing so good as a QB. I think the roster is so full of QB's he got scared off.

This was my thought also. There is going to be a lot of competition this spring and then this fall there will be more. This is enough to scare most people away but I thought LUKE had a big future at Alabama starting this year. I wonder if daddy has a biff with Lane Kiffin? He may have ask him to move on. This is sad for a young man who has a great chance to grow and learn. JMHO. RTR!

We have a lot of good QB's on the roster. CNS and Kiffin should be able to find a winner.

There is still a lot of talk about FSU's backup Jake Coker transferring in this summer. He graduates this semester and will be eligible to play immediately. He will have two years remaining. If this is true the down side is he will miss spring practice.

Hard to find a bright side of this; no doubt he's got options elsewhere.

Now it becomes even more important for Kiffin to have "a QB in his pocket".

True. If he comes in, he will have a lot of work to do in a short period of time to win the job.

@Chech- Yep! It would be a plus if Kiffin was reeling somebody in. Or maybe he knows something positive about one of the QB's we already have on board.

He left with class.  We may never know the reason, no smack talk from this guy.

I'm curious where he ends up. Best of luck to him.

Lots of options at QB; Bama will be fine.

Looks like ESPN is speculating that he's going to Oregon State.

I bet anything that Kiffin already has a good idea about how the QB situation will resolve itself. My guess is he spent A LOT of time evaluating them while he was here last month.

Jack del Rio did not have a lot of nic things to say about Kiffin. Remember he was interviewed a couple of times for the job. He played and coached at USC. I wouldn't be surprised if dad had something to do with this.
