I can not believe what I just heard. The announcers stated that Coach Grant had charted the last 5 minutes of the games and he discovered that just one guy was getting rebounds in the last 5 minutes resulting in the Tide not being able to close out games. Haven't SEVERAL of us on this forum been saying pretty much the same thing for several games?

Georgia playing better in the paint, now. Only 3 Tide players have scored, Hale, Jacobs, & Randolph. Our rebounding under the basket is starting to ease off & Georgia doing much better. 24-17 Georgia has 14 rebounds, Tide 9. Timeout 3:36 left in half.

Pizz poor officiating is only adding to Bama's frustration.

UGa started out slow and tired and Bama did nothing to take advantage of it. I hope we get some energy in the 2nd half.

We can not play any worse than we did in the first half. We need to get Releford and Obasohan to help Hale out with some scoring.

Hale is getting better each game. He is going to be a good one.

The difference in the game is the ref's. We drive to the basket, end up on the floor and it is a clean block. They drive to the basket and get bumped and it is a foul.

Engstrom has had at least 3 turnovers on passes to him. Pathetic. Very timid around basket. 36-26 UGA.

Watching this hurts my eyes.  By way Ingram just fumbled.

We had our chances but could not hit the critical shots. Ref's did not help. Is there such a thing as a charge anymore? I don't thing I have seen one called all year. I hate these new rules.

They shot 21 more free throws than we did. How do you beat that?

Without a doubt, that had a lot to do with it. The officiating was home cooking at it's finest.

Well, it's January 11th and I think it's safe to say we won't make the NCAA Tourney.

We have  16 games remaining and even if they don't go well enough to get us in we can always win the SEC Tourny. Never give up!
