:o :o :o Quote Troy athletic director John Hartwell said Thursday that all the school's athletes will be tested for drugs after a series of deaths and arrests struck the university. Hartwell said that all the athletes will be tested within 30 days. He met with staff and coaches and every available athlete on Wednesday to inform them of the decision. "I told them this is a time where certainly there are some people in this room hurting,'' he said. He said Troy will also increase the frequency of random testing in the future. Four students died in off-campus incidents during the holiday break. If you recruit thugs you get thugs. If you recruit character as well as athletic talent you get quality student athletes. Every school will have an occasional problem but it sounds like at Troy has some serious issues. I hate it because I always thought Troy was a good school. My wife is a Troy grad.
