Defensive game, so far. Auburn just intercepted Hoover deep in their own territory. Auburn doesn't pass, so MH hasn't done anything yet and they're punting away from him.

Hoover blocks Auburn punt and recovers for a TD. 7-0 Hoover.

Auburn kicking game is awful. Trying to punt away from MH, he shanks a 16 yd punt, lol!

Neither team is that great on offense, both pretty good on "D". 7-0 Hoover at the half. MH has a tackle, but other than that, they've played away from him.

No kidding.

Sorry I didn't finish off the game. My internet went out. Hoover won their 30th game in a row 20-3 to win the state championship again.

Once again, those of us in Mississippi are abused by television!  :lol2:

I was really hoping to see Marlon Humphrey showcase his talents. but to Auburn's credit, they played away from him and kicked away from him, the whole game. He did scoop up one punt return for about 15-20 yds and he was in on 2 tackles that I saw, but that was it.

Rashaan Evans played both sides of the ball and played pretty well, but he was one of few that played well for Auburn. Their running back had a few good runs, but for the most part, Hoover shut him down.

Lots of "D" and lots of penalties on both sides, but pretty normal considering the cold rainy weather.

Normally I would be really upset to see Hoover win AGAIN, but the way I have felt since last Saturday, I pretty much want anything with the name "Auburn" to lose.  :lol2:

I go to a lot of high school games. Often the team we are playing has a DI recruit. If it is an offensive player who can see what the DI coaches see. If they are on the defensive side the play always goes away from them. I'm not surprised at all they kicked away from MH and did not challenge him on the corner.

They hardly passed at all and when they did, it was away from MH.
