Title: Missouri vs Aubarn
Post by: Marshal Dillon on December 05, 2013, 07:30:58 PM
Well guys, what's your take on this game. I think the Barn will have a huge advantage in the size of the crowd. Missouri has a solid front 7 but how rusty is Franklin on offense? Very tough game to call.

I should probably pick the Barn given their run of luck, but I just can't make myself do it.

Can they both lose?

I will be pulling for Mizzou, but the barners could fall into a pile of dog crap and come up smelling like a rose.

Well, for now I am picking the Barn. Please forgive me.

I'm waiting to blame API for ending the SEC's record NC run.

 Mizzou is Solid on both sides of the ball...Aub's lack of depth on defense will catch up with them Sat. night.

That horseshoe is Auburn's.  Missouri lost their QB for most of the season to injury, and lost in OT to South Carolina (a game they should have won) when their FG attempt hit the goal post.

I like Mizzou too.

They are very balanced on offense. They have an experienced OL and a good RB. Franklin is a dual threat at QB. They have very good receivers, maybe the best in the SEC. I am also impressed that the team was good enough to put together a great season even after Franklin got hurt and missed much of the season. I give offensive advantage to Mizzou.

Mizzou has a good defense. They are very disciplined and stay in their lanes which is important against the barn. They have good speed. I am concerned they are a little bit small up front. Good, but not great, DB's. They create a lot of turnovers and make a lot of plays behind the line of scrimmage. Mizzou is +15 in turnovers. Advantage Mizzou

Special Teams:Advantage barn

Crowd: Advantage barn

The barn is the luckiest team I have ever seen. Their luck runs out this week. I like Mizzou in a very good tight game that should be fun to watch.

I've seen Mizzou a couple of times this year.  They are a solid contender, for all the reasons pmull laid out.  To be honest, I was pretty concerned about potentially having to face them.

Auburn has a pretty good team, but IMO they are juggling a lucky horseshoe with a couple of chain saws.  They are bound to get their arm cut off eventually.

I have a deep feeling anybody that can beat US can for sure beat Mizz. What is the worse thing that could ever happen is the NC trophy would come to Alabama again. JMHO. I don't think that stop the team I heard about in auburn. RTR!
