No word yet on who all the Crimson Tide coaches visited while at Hoover, but Hoover cornerback Marlon Humphrey, the nation's consensus No. 1 cornerback prospect for the Class of 2014 and the son of former Alabama running back Bobby Humphrey, has visited Tuscaloosa a couple of times this season. Humphrey also has visited other schools, including Florida State University and Mississippi State University...

"Marlon, Marlon, Marlon..."

Per my recruiting source, Marlan and Hootie are the best of friends. ;)

Good to hear that, J.

Do you think our focus on Marlon means we're unlikely to get Leonard Fournette (RB from Louisiana)?

No, Bama still has a very good shot at Fournette. I think Hootie's commitment only enhances Bama's chances for Humphrey and Fournette. I do have some concern for Scarbrough since he went to Florida for high school. He says he is still a firm commit but FSU would like to have him as well. Scarbrough has been working at other positions than running back and I think that is in Bama's favor by him doing that though.

If Flordia hire Lane Kiffen as OC, ive heard he is a very good recruiter. Would some of those Flordia guys flip, they would probably see quicker playing time.

I think Kiffin's reputation is damaged beyond repair. I don't see Muschamp going after him.

I think it is pretty common knowledge that Kiffin is on UF's radar.   I think Muschamp needs a coach on staff that the fans hate worse than they do him... ;)

I agree but Muschamp is absolutely desperate & knows he is on a short leash. Personally, I think Kiffin is an overrated clown who is somehow still basking in the light of Pete Carroll and his USC days. Amazing how this guy has done nothing, but he still gets mentioned or good jobs, just amazing.
