Title: Offshore Fishing Rpt. 5/29/11
Post by: rueben on May 30, 2011, 08:05:23 PM
Several Kings, Lost a  couple of Big ones. Had to release a lot Red Snapper ( Seaosn opens on the 1st >:( ).

Had a great time seeing so many of God's creatures in their natural habitat. Huge porpoises, playing and jumping near the boat. Watching the big fish push the little fish up to the surface in a feeding frenzy,  and pelicans start their dive bombing ops form the top. Nice calm seas, bright skies, and a slight breeze. Oh, I had a rod go off right next me. I pulled it and had my buddy's wife take it. Here she is showing off what was on the other end... if we'd have been in a local tourney, that would been $$$.

Thanks, the pic really does not do that fish justice. It was thick, easily between 30-40lbs. Could have been a $ maker if we were still fishing Tourneys

I haven't been King fishing in many years, but I sure enjoyed it when I did.  #+
