C'mon Duke and MSU!!!

Duke does not stand a chance against FSU. However, I think Missouri can beat Auburn. Ohio State vs Michigan State is interesting. MSU has no offense but solid defense (by Big Ten standards. They are still too slow by SEC standards). They play in Indianapolis but I think once again OSU eeks a a win. The sad thing is, Winston will probably be indicted before the BCSCG, leaving Ohio State to face an FSU with no QB.

I know Duke has the same chance as Jim Carrey in "Dumb and Dumber", but wilder things have happened. I think MSU has an excellent chance against OSU. Popcorn sales will be intense.

I agree that MSU has a chance against Ohio St., but they just don't have any offense. I have watched them 3 times this year and their O is an embarrassment. It has improved some over the year, though. I would love to see them upset OSU.

I remember a few years ago when Bama lost to LSU and was counted out of the BCSNCG and guess who played in it and won it. Never say never. ;)

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing.

I am surprised to see Bama ahead of Missouri.  I expected us to be 5.  Another possible scenario is an ugly SEC championship game with Mizzou winning on some sort of crazy play.  The game is so pitiful that the voters keep us ahead of them even though they won.  Then if OSU loses we are back in again.  There are some crazy scenarios out there that could pan out, none of which are crazier than the way the Iron Bowl ended.

I think OSU and FSU win out and play for the BCS.

If Mizzou beats au I do not know.

We all want everything to fall into place so we can make it to the Championship game. It is a long shot but it could happen.

If that does not happen I have seen a projection today that we go to the Orange Bowl against Oregon. Most projections have us playing Clemson but IMO Oregon would be a fun game we could get excited about.

If Missouri beats Awbren then they will jump Bama.  The only way Bama plays for the BCS is if FSU and OSU both lose this weekend.  Bama would then play the SECC for the BCSC.  I will be pulling for Missouri this Saturday (but probably won't watch the game) but deep in my heart I would love for Coach Saban to have 5 weeks to prepare for Awbaren... [/evilgrin]

The BAMA Nation needs to make sure the Orange Bowl knows that we will not travel back down there AGAIN this year to play ANYBODY.  They need to pick someone else this year.  Then the Sugar Bowl gets the next pick.

Well SC don't you think the players would except it if they chose Alabama? I can't remember the last time we played in the Orange Bowl. Was it when Shawn ran for the TD that won the game or since then? RTR!

The national championship game against Notre Dame was there last year.

Exactly.  The fans need to make it clear to the Orange Bowl that we don't want to go to Miami again this year and will just stay home.  If they didn't pick Bama, then you know the Sugar Bowl will pick us for the rematch, and have better ratings than any of the bowls including FSU vs. OSU.

Rose PAC 12 and gets to pick a replacement for OSU. Most think they would pick Mich State to keep a Pac-12 Big 10 match up

Orange gets the next two picks. They do not have to pick an ACC team to replace FSU. Most experts see no way the Orange would overlook us at that point.

I think the chance of a Sugar Bowl rematch with the barn is a longer shot than playing them in the Championship Game.

Can we turn down the invitation?  Maybe we call the Sugar Bowl and ask them if they would pick us for a rematch if we turn down the Orange Bowl.

One thing we are all overlooking is Mizzou will beat the barn.

I think Auburn will have trouble coming down to Earth after our game. I also think they may be overlooking a pretty good Mizzou team.

I think Missouri is a good team that very well could beat the Barn, except for the horseshoe factor.
