Quote
"I think the quarterback that he has now is a lot like Tebow in terms of his skills set," Saban said on his Thursday radio show. "He's a big guy, he's very physical, he's a very good runner. He's a good strong-armed passer. They have another quarterback that is a really good passer as well. You almost have to prepare for two quarterbacks."

Should I be worried?   :popcorn2:

I heard yesterday Miss State has beat the No. 1 team in the county one time in their history. The team they beat was two time defending National Champion Alabama. That was in 1980. They beat us 6-3 in Jackson, MS. We played terrible that day. Kinda spooky about the two time champion similarity.

This is Mississippi State's BCSNCG and you can bet they are on cloud nine over there. I also remember Gene Stallings running Bob Bockrath out of the locker room after a loss over there. It's always a very physical game when these two play so Bama had better be ready.

I've been whistling past the graveyard on that.

Yep, I remember.  We fumbled at the goalline.  Give credit to MSU, they played hard that day, and Alabama didn't.

Indeed, we'd won the NC in 1978 and 1979, trying for a 3-peat!  BUT, that's where the similarities end!

In 1992 they gave us a real scare on our way to our undefeated season. If I recall correctly we were down 21-3 become we made our come back.

MSU is not the best team on our schedule but they are one of the most physical. I have seen them on TV several times this year and they play good defense but struggle to score. I think they are better with Prescott as QB. He is a big guy who likes to run. He was hurt last week so I don't know how healthy he is.

I don't know, Miss State might score 6 points today.

And we have scored 3 several times this year!
