The lake is almost never full. It takes Ga & SC getting higher than average rainfall in that area for Hartwell to not look like a giant mud puddle.

If you have to drag your boat over 40' of mud to get from the boathouse to the water it would not be a good time to sell. Maybe he wants to move to Lake Burton, so he can hang with the big dogs (CNS and CVD). I just discussed the sale of a second home with a friend. One economic condition we factored into his decision of whether or not to list his property now, was the strong possibilty of hyper-inflation within the next few years. Market conditions are not ideal for selling a resort property (residential) but it is not likely to improve anytime soon.
