-- Starting cornerback Deion Belue was not out there for a second straight day. Coach Nick Saban said he was held out of Tuesday's practice for precautionary reasons. His turf toe from Texas A&M continues to pop up and cause issues.

-- Fellow cornerback Bradley Sylve was going through the drills, but he was moving gingerly on his strained left ankle. He did not appear to be making any cuts on the injured leg.

-- Running back Jalston Fowler was in a black jersey for a second straight day after suffering a concussion against Tennessee. He was still hitting the sleds and participating in other individual drills involving light contact.

-- Nose tackle Brandon Ivory was with the defensive line again after missing the Tennessee game for "medical reasons," Saban said.

-- Defensive lineman LaMichael Fanning's indefinite suspension continues.

We need for some of these injuries to go away. We can't play some these teams with hurt players. I remember Mark Barron trying to play with one arm, and he gave up the TD that beat us. Now understand what I am saying, he had desire and never for one minute backed down but we have to players at full strength. I hate what is said about JF. He is big and a great blocker. RTR!
