BCS: Alabama carries SEC's hopes

A week ago, the SEC's BCS hopes rode on the backs of Alabama and Missouri. Seven days later, the SEC is all about the crimson and white.
After falling 27-24 in overtime to South Carolina on Saturday, the Tigers dropped from the ranks of the unbeatens and slid from No. 5 in the BCS standings to No. 9. Alabama's dominating 45-10 win over Tennessee kept the Crimson Tide No. 1 in the standings, and it's clear that Alabama holds the league's best chance of making it to the SEC's eighth straight BCS title game.
