Eliminate all block seating.

Allow students to start lining up 3 hours before kickoff.
First come first serve.
Scan IDs on entry and exit.
If you leave early you miss the next game.
If you leave early 3 times you miss the remainder of the season.

Scroll back 40 years: DID THAT, BAD SCENE.

Lots of fights; kids tried to save seating for friends, frats, etc.

Without block seating on Saturday, the students that wanted to see the game got there early, took the good lower level seats, and stayed until the end.  IMO, that's how it should work.

I don't see a need to scan IDs upon exit if there is no block seating -- I don't see the ticket takers being very vigilant with that anyway.

Scan TICKETS or student IDs when leaving.  Students don't get to buy tickets next time if they leave too early.  Tide Pride members who leave early lose points for next year.

Fans say they have a right to come and go as they please.  That is true.  But the University has a right to sell the tickets to people who will support the team until the last play.  You don't have a right to buy tickets in the first place.  Trust me, I know.  Let some of the 25,000+ people on the waiting list buy those tickets and I will bet the leaving early stops completely.

I thought SGA (with an assist from CNS) handled this pretty well and the result speaks for itself.
