Title: Derek Henry's TD Run...... Post by: McBaman on October 20, 2013, 09:45:19 AM .... may turn out to be the longest of his Bama career! Very long strides going down the sideline, about 2.5 yds per step. Doesn't look fast but he was covering a lot of ground in a hurry.

I think the call was to run between the tackles so as not to score. Whoops! Greatness happen, coach. There are worse problems to have.

Just saw the video though, and I agree that it doesn't look like he's actually running very fast. When that big man turned the corner, and then pulled away from the DB's, I thought "dang, I didn't know he had that kind of speed for such a big back".
