Post by: Marshal Dillon on May 18, 2011, 09:45:07 PM
The beginning of the end? At least it's a start.

His booster buddies will pay that, if he has any left. I'm starting to see through these phoney baloneys. Pre-arranged to make it look like OSU is taking a hard line on Tressel.

Well, at least the university won't get stuck with a $2 million lawyers bill. It's a start.

Well with the money Tressel makes, a cost of $2 million will not even scratch his checking account. RTR!

Why does OSU feel it's that important to keep Trussel on the payroll, he's nothing but a cancer to the school now. ???

IMO they are keeping him because they know how important getting a good coach is to winning. Bama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and others have proven even the best programs cannot just plug in another coach and never miss a beat. It looks to me that they are willing to weather the storm with Tressel. However, I am sure sure they expected this situation to continue to get bigger and bigger.

This not a storm, but a full-blown disaster which threatens to topple the entire university.

I agree. They never expected the high and mighty OSU to have to weather a F5 tornado. A month ago I thought Tressel would kept his job. Now, he could be gone at any time. I do not think he will ever coach again at OSU.
