Title: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: BAMAWV on May 16, 2011, 05:31:26 PM I hate litterbugs and tailgaters, and think they deserve imprisonment or execution. People poking along in the fast lane runs a distant third. What gets your goat?

Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: BAMAWV on May 16, 2011, 05:51:32 PM I hate wal-marks period ... Thread hijacker. #+ for making record time in doing so.I can be in a perfectly good mood , having a great day go in wal-marks and by the time I get through the check out I'M READY TO KILL SOMEBODY ! Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: XBAMA on May 16, 2011, 06:24:20 PM SO SORRY WV !!! :-[ #
I saw the word "wal-marks" and got crazy ... what I was trying to say is that after I go in wal-marks the ride there is forgotten no matter how many DA's cross my path on the trip there the actual trip into the store is 400 times worse than the drive . re-rail ... I hate people on cell phones , putting on make-up or driving 20+ mph lower than the limit all of those set me off in a hurry ... I am amazed at the number of people I have passed that are reading a book while driving . that torque's my gourd in a hurry too ... talking about de-rails ......... and those slow left laner's ... I used to have a real train horn on my truck talk about having some fun ... you can make someone mess their britches real quick ! People poking along in the fast lane runs a distant third. What gets your goat? >:( People who have it clear to pull out for a LONG time before I get to them, and then when I am like 10 yards from them pull out and then SLOW DOWN. If you have to be a jerk and pull out, at least speed up. Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: pmull on May 16, 2011, 07:07:28 PM Golfers that play so slow they hold up the whole course. This deserves the death penalty.
Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: BAMAWV on May 16, 2011, 07:19:33 PM Dense fog at night on these mountain roads. Tourist (out of state tags) poking along at 5 mph which is sometimes really a safe speed. But I manage to get around them. I know the roads so I can go maybe 15-20 mph. But then they tailgate me. Now I cannot see because of their headlights on my truck. I sometimes stop and have a talk with them.
Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: 2Stater on May 16, 2011, 08:32:43 PM Don't get me started. Everything you guys posted. My pet peeves in order.
1) Drivers that think the passing lane is the sight-seeing lane. When I finally pass them, I cut them off...DANGEROUSLY CLOSE. >:( 2) I have 5 miles of clearance behind me, but idiot driver has to pull out from a side road right in front of me and drive slowly. When I finally pass them, I cut them off...DANGEROUSLY CLOSE. >:( 3) Fat people at Walmarks that walk their buggy (or drive it) down the center of the aisle so you cannot pass. When I finally pass them, I cut them off...DANGEROUSLY CLOSE. >:( 4) Everybody else at Walmarks because they are taking all day to decide what to pick off the aisle while their buggy is right across from them blocking the aisle. I move their buggy by pushing it as far as it will go before crashing into something. >:( 5) Fivesomes on the golf course. >:( Here is a pic of me practicing anger management.................. People passing stopped traffic, in the emergency lane. I refuse to let' em back in, but someone (weak) always does. Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: rueben on May 16, 2011, 08:50:09 PM People who see the big red truck, lights flashing, siren wailing...and refuse to get out of the way. But when it is them (or a loved one of theirs) having an emergency, guess who's the first one to ask, "WHAT TOOK YOU GUS SO LONG?!?"
Oh my last day before retirement, they better not let me out on that truck in public!!! People passing stopped traffic, in the emergency lane. I refuse to let' em back in, but someone (weak) always does. Amen to that! The weekend before last, a foursome in front of us was holding up the world. On a par 3, one of the maroons drove the cart into a sand trap. I kid you not. It took all 4 of them to get the cart out as we played through without their permission. Lucky for them, they didn't open their mouths. We were steaming. Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: Old Tider on May 17, 2011, 05:31:00 AM People in front of you in the checkout line who can't find their card or there's a problem with it or they sent their kid to find something they forgot.
No matter which line you pick, the one next to you will start zooming through. Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: pmull on May 17, 2011, 08:04:38 AM 1. People talking on their cell phone while checking out. Then when the cashier is done and tells them the amount they start to look for their wallet in their purse (like they didn't know they would have to pay) while still talking on the phone.
2. I always get behind someone in the parking lot who decides to stop and wait on a parking spot while some poor little old lady unloads $300.00 worth of groceries. Normally there is an open spot 3 cars down. 3. People who are too lazy to return their shopping cart to the cart return area. Just because one is not fat, doesn't mean they are considerate or nice people.. just saying I agree with every one else's peeves. Especially the slow driver in the left lane and the one who pulls out in front of you (with NO ONE behind you) and doesn't speed up! Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: rueben on May 17, 2011, 01:43:20 PM Standing in line. I freaking hate it. 15 people ready to check out, two registers open and then I got the skank smacking her gum with an attitude. I have been ugly to one before. Said things I shouldn't have. ( i reminded her that there was a reason she was working the register at walmark.)
Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: cbbama99 on May 17, 2011, 07:02:24 PM Too few cashiers open at a time, even during busy times. I look on Saturday afternoons and see about 10 registers open and 15 or so closed and lines backing up into the merchandise areas. Unbelievable.

They just take up more aisle space. Title: Re: The Niceties of Driving to Walmark Post by: SUPERCOACH on May 17, 2011, 08:26:52 PM Long lines at the registers with 20 self check out lanes but only a couple of them open. HELLO! They are SELF check out lanes.
