Uphill battle until some of them get healthy. Gurley can carry the load, but he is really banged up too.

It couldn't be much worse for Geaorgia right now. Murray will have to be at his best on every play and at every game for Georgia to win out.

Here's the story that ESPN has on it.  http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/9782541/georgia-bulldogs-keith-marshall-justin-scott-wesley-season

I wonder if we'll start to see more season ending knee injuries because of the new targeting rule?  I also wonder if something is amiss with UGA's strength and conditioning program?  Marshall's injury was probably unavoidable based on where he was hit, but Scott-Wesley wasn't even touched when he blew out his ACL and Mitchell was just celebrating a touchdown when he blew out his ACL.

Marshall out for the season: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000257528/article/georgias-keith-marshall-out-for-season-with-torn-acl

Also:
Quote
Scott-Wesley is the latest injury at the receiver position for Georgia, which lost its best receiver for the year in the season opener when Malcolm Mitchell tore an ACL in the Clemson game. Receiver Michael Bennett needs a knee scope, and also will not play against Missouri.

The only way it could get worse for UGA is if Murray goes down.

True.  I was watching their game Saturday, thinking 'this is contagious', and wondering if Murray would take a chance of running the ball.  He didn't for a while, then he had a LONG run up the middle on legs I didn't know he had.  WTH?

He survived healthy.  Check out his run:

He's a better runner than I realized.   :o

Georgia knows if he gets injured it is all over, so they must save the run for desperate times.

I know UGA has lost some good offensive players but I still think they have a bigger problem on defense. I know they have played a very difficult schedule to this point but they are giving up 32.2 points per game. Their best outing gave up 21 points to North Texas. They lost a lot of good defensive players from last years team and it may catch up with them. I look for Missouri to give them a good game this weekend.

They tackled like Texas in that UT game.

Georgia has never really been known for defense since AARON MURRAY has been there. I think Georgia goes the rest of the way without defeat and that includes Florida who has a great defense. Georgia is better than people think. Not So Fast My Friend!!,, rofl. RTR!

I think these injuries will finally catch up to Georgia. No team can have this many injuries without it biting them sooner or later. Georgia still has to play Missouri, Vandy, Florida, Ga. Tech, & Auburn. I think they will lose one of those games, maybe even 2, due to so many injuries.
