Maybe U of A infractions were not as "dead to rights" as some suggest. But we have been doing a balancing act with repeat offender status for a while. Also, Marsh did not enter these pleas on his own. U of A's "best and brightest" signed off on him pleading "we are sorry and won't do it again". We need to make sure we run a clean program and win "the right way". However, we hired Marsh as an expert in dealing with the NCAA. He threw us under the bus. Regardless of his performance during Bama's recent unpleasantness, there is no reason to make such a comment in the context of his new job.
