Title: BMOC Article

Here is Gene's column from ESPN, Big Man On Campus. He has some good stuff about the Saban to Texas rumors. He basically calls it a joke.

Actually, a good article. His comments make sense. I particularly liked:

Quote
Baylor is Oregon, but with a Texas twang.

Yes.

The Bears have scored 69 points, 70 and 70 in their first three games -- the first FBS team, according to Stats LLC, to begin a season with three consecutive games of 60 or more points. That's hard to do against air, much less an actual opponent.

OK, about those opponents …

Wofford, Buffalo and Louisiana-Monroe are cupcakes with frosting and sprinkles on top, but still … 69-70-70 points?

The thing I don't like about Baylor is that they deliberately run up the score. Art Briles is all about style points. So I will never be impressed with Baylor. Oregon runs up the score as well, but at least they play in a real conference.
