Title: Report: Ohio St. looks at car deals
Post by: pmull on May 07, 2011, 01:13:03 PM
OSU keeps getting in deeper and deeper. The same car salesman sold almost 50 cars to OSU players and he gets free passes to games. He must be a heck of a salesman.

If there has ever been a school "looking down the barrel of a gun", it's got to be OSU if any of this is factual.

If the NCAA ends up hammering these guys like they should, wonder how long it will take for spontaneous celebrations to begin in Ann Arbor? Heck, I might drive up there and join them.

Do you think Nebraska knew about any of this stuff concerning OSU when they joined the Big Ten?

Link to a article about the Michigan fans and the billboard.

Quote
Some Michigan Wolverines fans are having a laugh at Ohio State's recent troubles.

And the highlight of the pranks isn't going unnoticed. It winks at thousands of interstate drivers daily.

According to a recent report in the Toledo (Ohio) Blade, a billboard in Michigan between Detroit and Ann Arbor on I-94, clad in a scarlet background with bold white letters, takes a jab at Ohio State coach Jim Tressel and his familiar sweater vests.

"Liar, Liar, Vest on Fire!" reads the billboard, whose sponsor remained anonymous, according to the newspaper.

That was my first thought, too. The question is, what does it take to get rid of Tressel? Does he have to kill and mutilate someone on live TV before OSU really does something?

 :o

Usually when someone kills and mutilates someone it is pre-recorded.  Just sayin'

Reverse. If someone gets killed and /or mutilated TV is hesitant to show it. Live, of course, catches them by surprise (except for the 10 sec delay).

BTW, boys made breakfast this AM, girls cooked Sunday/MD supper. Both meals were womanlike quality. Now I'm thinking about murdering someone, except not on Mother's Day (bless her heart). I know what she is up to, with this "take good care of yourself" crap. Trying to outlive me so I can't get a 22 year old girlfriend. That is pure selfish of her. Anyway, what were we saying about Tressel?

No, just punch them in the neck and try to choke them.

With all these distractions and problems, I can see Ohio State going something like 7-5 in the regular season. Plus, I'm betting Tressel gets suspended for the entire year by he NCAA, along with some recruiting restrictions.

Things are really getting ugly for OSU and sweatervest. Go to any national sports site like CBS Sports or Fox sports and there is one negitive article after another. This car salesman thing could be the last straw. The NCAA is getting ready to come down hard on them.

I've never heard of a coach being suspended for violating NCAA rules in the first pacle, much less a whole season.  Something is bizarre up there.

The NCAA can order the university to fire him.
