I don't know why these kids do this. They must think it is funny. I bet CNS does not think it is funny. Someone does this every year. I know I have seen barn, Ole Miss and LSU players do this in the last few years.

Just looking at the comments below the picture, do we really want him at Bama?

I have no clue where the $ came from. It may be dirty, or it may not. So until it is proven that it is dirty, I will not pass judgement. Posting the pic was not the smartest move, but he was not recruited on an acedemic scholarship either.

Well I think he may have gotten paid by some one wanting to cause a riff so the players can't keep focused for 3 in a row. I would not kick him out till the truth be known but if he did this to mess up peoples integrity, he should be gone with out regret. He knew what he was doing he is smiling to big. Now who put him up this? RTR!

Maybe the money is legit. Anyone ever consider that? Or did they see a poor young blackman and automatically assume it was dirty money? Maybe he sold a vehicle. Maybe a family member passed and he got some of the estate $. MAybe his mom Did like Dre K's mom and had taken out a scholrship fund for him. Then cashed it out when he was awarded a scholarship. I don't know if the money is dirty or not. I do agree posting the pic was stupid. Maybe he had his reasons. Like to show his friends back home he was not a struggling hoodrat anymore. But to automatcially assume that a young black man holding money in a pic is crooked, is pessimist at best and pretty much racist.

Like you said, not that wise to post the picture, but it isn't that much money and no one knows where it came from.

Regardless of where the money came from it shows poor judgement and character on his part.

I am making no assumptions regarding Liner's money or anything.  To me though the racist is Liner himself.  Check out his twitter post that was edited so it could be published.  Totally uncalled for IMO...

Maybe he was treated like a second class citizen his whole life for being broke and wanted to show the folks back home times have changed. I agree it was not a smart move, but shows nothing about his character, until we learn 1. where the money came from and 2. why he posted the pic. I will reserve judgement.

I agree that simply holding a wad of cash says nothing about his character.  However, by him saying, "Me and my ni     we ballin" speaks volumns about his character IMO.  He is a racist piece of trash IMO...

Unfortunate incident, poor judgment.  Yeah, he will be processed... how contrite will we see him next time.

You and I must not be looking at the same instagram post.

I'm not making any assumptions on where the money came from or his character.  It was a dumb picture posted by a kid that probably didn't realize the ramifications of posting said picture.

By the way, this story has already been picked up by Sports Illustrated and ESPN.com.  It will probably be on College Football Live.

I'm no expert but could this have been photoshopped by someone wanting to hurt our program?

I doubt that is what happened. It was an instagram posted on his twitter account. I guess his account could have been hacked. I think he just did something stupid trying to impress his friends that he will regret.

Nothing like being in the CNS doghouse on day one of your career.

I think there will be some extra workouts really early in the morning to fix his problem.

I have noticed that since the incident, he has not been on Twitter. Bet CNS put a stop to that for a while.

Yes, it was dumb.

No, it's not racist.

If this is the worst thing this kid does in his life, he, his folks, and we should be happy.

Yes, CNS will rip him a new.

No, no one will remember this in 33 days, except, of course for him and CNS, who will make sure he never forgets it.

This is also an occasion for team leaders, his peers, to circle around him and let him know that that stuff is not part of the process.

This might be the first day of the rest of his life.

Please explain to me how this isn't racist.  He specifically posted the "N" word.  Just because he's black doesn't give him a free pass to use racist terminology.

So you think he's prejudice against black people, NALT?  Whether it's ok for him to use that word or not, I don't think using it makes him racist against black people.  I don't see how there's a case for saying he's racist against another race for use of that word either.

It's very possible.  There was also a photo of a car posted in connection with this somehow, and it's already been shown that it was a photoshopped picture.

I think we as a fanbase need to stop jumping to conclusions so quickly based on social media and internet "journalists" like Clay Travis.  Half the time it turns out to be false.  Not to mention that most of us probably don't understand the "culture" of black youths...this could merely be some type of running joke or a parody of people who "gangstas" who post these kinds of pictures.  Is it really that hard for someone to get their hands on $400 in 20s?
