Many recruiting fans were surprised to see Corona, California offensive lineman Viane Talamaivao commit to Alabama in late May but the 6-foot-3, 310-pound guard has proven to be among the most firmly committed players in the Tide's 2014 recruiting class and was the first piece of what is quickly becoming a powerful offensive line class for the Tide.
