Title: Rutgers Coach Calls Out SEC-Unbelievable Post by: Marshal Dillon on June 24, 2013, 09:54:06 AM Rutgers implying the SEC is afraid of them. You got to be kidding. They join the Big Ten this year, so it looks like he's already been brainwashed to think the Big Ten is equal to the SEC. Could it be something in the water up there? I guess the ACC or MAC will call us out next.
:lol2: Quote That’s right. Flood pretty much called out at least a handful of teams from the big, bad SEC—the conference with seven consecutive BCS national titles—for not playing his Scarlet Knights in their inaugural season in the Big Ten. http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football/story/2013-06-20/rutgers-coach-kyle-flood-calls-out-sec-schedule-opponent-lsu-auburn-arkansas Title: Re: Rutgers Coach Calls Out SEC-Unbelievable Post by: ricky023 on June 24, 2013, 10:00:22 AM  , well you have made me smile today. This sounds like a lot of coaches are going to be hammered to me. CNS does not show being Mad very much, but on the field, he will speak loud to every one. :lol2: RTR

I might actually half listen then. I don't think we'll hear Urban Meyer trash talking. He may be able to handle the Big10, but he'll need better athletes if OSU faces a top SEC team in a bowl game. And Oregon has already been taught a lesson or two. Beat Michigan and Michigan State first, then we might grant them the beat down they so desire.
Title: Re: Rutgers Coach Calls Out SEC-Unbelievable Post by: Catch Prothro on June 25, 2013, 01:17:51 PM It appears he could only have been talking about: "Auburn, LSU and Vanderbilt." Those are the only schools with open dates for that time. http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football/story/2013-06-20/rutgers-coach-kyle-flood-calls-out-sec-schedule-opponent-lsu-auburn-Arkansas
I suspect LSU is looking for a better season opening matchup, and Auburn is afraid. I doubt he was seeking a home and home with Vandy -- not much revenue there. |
