Title: Coach Sumlin of Texas A&M Offered Job by Guess Who Post by: Marshal Dillon on June 13, 2013, 06:57:18 PM Amazing. He won't be around long if he keeps winning.
Quote TexAgs.com co-owner and A&M insider Billy Liucci told the Express-News that the Eagles offered Sumlin their head-coaching job before finally reaching a deal with former Oregon coach Chip Kelly. Auburn also reportedly sought Sumlin for its then-vacant coaching position before ultimately bringing back Gus Malzahn.] http://college-football.si.com/2013/06/13/kevin-sumlin-texas-am-philadelphia-eagles/?sct=uk_t2_a3 :lol2: Title: Re: Coach Sumlin of Texas A&M Offered Job by Guess Who Post by: Catch Prothro on June 14, 2013, 07:45:36 PM He's a great coach.

Other than getting the NFL itch where would he go that is a better situation than A&M? I can only thing of a few schools. If he continues to win like he did at Houston and in his first year at A&M schools will be trying to get him but I think A&M might be able to convince him to stay. A&M has money, good fan base and nice facilities. Plus they are riding high since joining the SEC. There is one guy who thought A&M is a better place to coach than Bama.
