Title: Antoine Pettway Back as Assistant Coach
Post by: Marshal Dillon on May 20, 2013, 07:27:45 PM
Excellent choice. Maybe he can show them how to handle the ball, work with the point guards, and add some offense to the team.

Antoine Pettway is back where he started on Alabama coach Anthony Grant's staff.

The former Alabama basketball standout was promoted Monday to assistant coach. Pettway had spent the past three seasons as Alabama's director of operations after serving as an assistant coach during Grant's first season with the Crimson Tide in 2009-10.

He was the only member of Gottfried's staff CAG retained. He has been the Director of Operations. It is hard to believe he has not been coaching already in addition to his other duties. I think this is a good move by CAG that many people expected.

It is also good to have a former Alabama player on staff.
