Title: Impact of 2011 Alabama-LSU Football Game
Post by: Marshal Dillon on May 14, 2013, 08:48:04 PM
Just heard on the radio that 27 players in the 2011 Alabama/LSU football game have been selected in the NFL Draft. Of those 27, 12 were picked in the first round. Just incredible. I bet that's more than the entire Big Ten.

I posted this tweet in the Daily Thread on 4/29. I think it was right after the draft. Amazing how many good football players were in those two games.

22 DEFENSIVE players from the (in)famous 2011 LSU-Bama game have already been drafted. No wonder nobody could score.

I was thinking most of those players were probably defensive but your tweet proves just how overwhelming the number of D guys is. Good info.

No doubt one of the best defensive games I've ever seen, if not THE best.

LSU is going to have a good defense every year as long as John Chavis is there. He is another defensive great mind. RTR!
