Glad to hear that. That should also mean an upgrade for the recruiting.

A $30M upgrade would be great and long overdue. It would help recruiting as well as attendance. The rest of our facilities are too nice the have a major program/stadium like baseball be in bottom third of the SEC.

It looks like Bill Battle is doing his job. IMO the most critical areas he inherited was the Women's basketball program/coach and the baseball facility. He is addressing both of those items.

You can give all the credit for the baseball field to Mal Moore. He told us in January that he had seen the new plans and was very impressed but he had not gone to the Trustees with it yet to be approved. Now the basketball program is another thing and somebody had better hurry just a bit or there won't be a womens team this year. They've already lost some players from this years team and I haven't heard a thing about any new players coming in. I guess you can't recruit unless you have a coach. Hello Bill, where are you. This will not be an easy fix.

I'm glad you mentioned that. What is the problem with getting us a BB coach for the women? This has been a festering problem for several years.

No one even talks about it locally and that's surprising, usually there are some rumors floating around but not this time. Either they are being very picky with their choice or no one wants the job. :dunno:
