“What people don’t realize is sometimes you have a lot of guys drafted because you have a lot of seniors,” Saban said. “We didn’t have a lot of seniors. We had nine seniors and three guys go out early, I think.

“So we had 12 guys eligible for the draft, and nine of them got drafted, and three of them now signed as free agents. I think that’s even more compelling, that every guy that you have leaving the program has an opportunity to play at the next level.”
