Rolando needs to get out of Decatur and never come back. Don't try to blame it on the Decatur police. They are just doing their job. Rolando was a thug in high school and hung out with a bad crowd of friends. There was concern when he signed with Alabama if he could keep himself in line. Somehow we got three great years out of him. The only thing worse than a high school thug is a grown man thug who has a lot of money.

I am convienced he will be a bust in the NFL and end up in prison. What a waste.

He's already doing a good job of filling Ray Lewis's shoes.

I never took Ro for being a moron, but c'mon, enough is enough. He keeps on doing the same crap in Decatur that gets him in trouble. I thought going to the Ravens might give him a new lease on life, but apparently, he is intent on remaining a common thug. It breaks my heart to see someone who once had the world by the tail, do all they can to throw it all away.

I'm worried that the Ravens will use this to terminate his newly signed contract.

I'm also worried that when the money stops coming in, and Ro becomes broke, that the crimes will turn to the felony variety and the young man will end up behind bars for most of his younger years.

The Pines is in the projects in Decatur. In other words, he can't seem to stay out of the hood, even though he is a millionaire.

The arrest followed a report of a disturbance at Pines Park in Decatur, police said in a short press release and didn't offer further details

If things go all to "H" for Ro, you won't mind him staying at your place?

Nah, he'll just go back to the hood in Decatur.

Seems like Ole Jamos told all of you about two weeks ago when he signed with the Ravens that this thug would never make it, I stand by my prediction. He's nothing but a bully that always has his entourage of thugs hanging with him trying to make the big impression on everybody.

How did he survive 3 years under Saban? Do you have any experiences with him when he was at the Capstone or your fellow REC guys?

He barely did make it with CNS, he had some altercations that was handled internally. CNS has his player committee and I think this helps a lot with player problems. I also think that CNS put him on a pedestal to encourage him to act like a role model and I think it worked for the most part. I was around the guy a few times and he never once acknowledge me when I spoke to him. As I said earlier, he always had a group of 6-8 guys hanging with him whenever I would see him which was mostly at the softball stadium. I never saw him smiling very much, just a cold stare.

Interesting. Maybe the police overreacted.

McClain has so much trouble with law enforcement we can not keep up with them all. The charge that was dismissed is not the most recent problem. This is an arrest from January where he was pulled over for too dark window tint on his car. He was given a ticket and he refused to sign the ticket. He wrote "f*** you" on the ticket and the officer gave him a second chance and then arrested him. He plead quality to the tinting and the judge dismissed failure to provide proper identity.

He still has a court case coming up in June for a May 2011 reckless driving and no proof of insurance citation. He is out on $1,000 bail for an April 21 arrest which started this thread.

Preacher has his work cut out for him praying for this guy.

I agree with you on this thug, but I don't think prayer will do much for this guy. You"ve got to want to do and be better for prayer to help. :wall:
