Harvey Updyke's trial moved 
Harvey Updyke, the Alabama fan charged with poisoning the Toomer's Corner oak trees at Auburn, is getting his wish -- his trial location is moving.

Updyke's lawyers have cited in the past that they felt Updyke wouldn't get a fair trial if it was near Auburn. A circuit judge issued the order on Wednesday to transfer the trial from Opelika to Wetumpka, which is located in Elmore County near Montgomery, after prosecutors dropped their opposition to a request by Updyke's lawyers.

The damage to the Tide Nation has already been done. From this point forward, the carnage is on the barn for being petty and vengeful.

I went to the free barn site this morning just to see what they were saying about their record breaking (record for losing) basketball team and saw an Updyke post. They think all Bama fans worship Updyke. They want to give him a life sentence.

I think the whole thing is crazy and should have been settled out of court months ago but there is no way I support or brag about what he did. He deserves to be punished but the cost to put this to trial far exceeds the crime.
