Lacy and Floyd are skipping their pro days
Alabama running back Eddie Lacy and Florida defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd will skip their pro days this week, as they recover from injuries.

Lacy, who is rated as the No. 1 running back prospect  in this year's NFL draft by ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper Jr., won't partake in Wednesday's workout because of tightness in his hamstring that kept him from working out at last month's NFL combine, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Lacy, who was third in the SEC with 1,322 rushing yards and had 17 touchdowns last fall, suffered his hamstring injury while running the 40-yard dash in a mock combine event at IMG a week before the combine.

Wasn't HTWMI also the first running back taken?  If so this will make 3 starters in a row going on to be the #1 running back in the draft.

Glen Coffee was a third round pick who went pro after his junior year. It's not as good as #1 RB in the 1st round but CNS puts RB's in the NFL.

Most of CNS picked RB's are becoming instant projects of winning and now the Heisman comes up more often than anytime before. RTR!

I didn't know Coffee made it to the NFL.  Good for him.

Coffee gave up his senior year to enter the NFL draft. I was concerned because he was going to be replaced by HTWMI and this incoming freshman named BATR. LOL

Coffee was drafted in the 3rd round by the 49'ers. He played well for them as a back up RB. He unexpectedly retired after one year in the NFL at age 23 and healthy. Here's an article on why he did it.
