SEC players among early Heisman favorites
The sports betting site Bovada released its 2013 Heisman Trophy odds this week (only for entertainment purposes, of course), and it's no surprise that Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is atop the list.

Never mind that Ohio State's Archie Griffin is the only player to have won two Heisman trophies (1974 and 1975). Manziel will go into the 2013 season as the guy to beat for college football's most prestigious individual award.

In recent years, Florida's Tim Tebow and Alabama's Mark Ingram have been in that same position, but didn't pull off the double.

AJ at 12/1 seems ridiculous. That means if the Tide three-peats he is not necessarily the Heisman winner! I realize the Heisman voting comes before the NCG, but even if the Tide is in the NCG, he should be selected as the first 3 time NCQB. JMHO

Well I am certainly going to be pulling for AJ. If Yeldon has as good of a year as I think he will, he will also be in the running. RTR!
