Title: Don't Throw the Records Out in Alabama-Auburn Game Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 24, 2012, 11:06:27 AM Good read.
Quote The Alabama-Auburn rivalry has a storied history, Hatfield-vs.-McCoy level hatred and games and performances that inhabit the state's psyche for decades. What the Iron Bowl hasn't been filled with is really big upsets. The Tigers visit Bryant-Denny Stadium and the second-ranked Crimson Tide on Saturday as 31.5-point underdogs hoping to change that tradition. http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/49930539/ns/sports-college_football/  Title: Re: Don't Throw the Records Out in Alabama-Auburn Game Post by: pmull on November 24, 2012, 11:20:42 AM I have been correcting people all week when they would make comments like "you can throw out the records in this game". It is not true. The better team normally wins and there have been very few upsets in this series.

But to tell you the truth, I am kinda/sorta surprised that through the years,-- no IB related deaths have been recorded. They are horrible. :o Title: Re: Don't Throw the Records Out in Alabama-Auburn Game Post by: Old Tider on November 24, 2012, 12:43:22 PM What Auburn fan would drive to Tuscaloosa just to watch a war eagle being plucked and cooked?
